Banky W  Nigerian singer, Olubankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, the musician-turned-politician, has unfortunately lost to his opponent Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party(LP). He did not get the results he hoped for, as he lost the seat to the candidate of the Labour Party. On Sunday, 26 February, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Mr Thaddeus Attah as the winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives. Thaddeus Attah won with 24,075 votes, defeating his opponents, Mr Olubankole Wellington (Banky W) representing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had 18,666 votes, and Mr Babjide Obanikoro of the APC, who had 16,901 votes. The INEC Returning Officer, Professor Funmilayo Odukoya, declared Attah the winner at the Collation Centre, Lagos State Model Nursery and Primary School, Marwa, Lekki 1. Nigeria is notable for a two-party system that has dominated for 24 years. The general election is described as the country's mo
