Galamsey Menace: GRASAG to Join Catholic Bishops in Protest Against Galamsey on October 11

The Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) has announced its intention to join forces with the Ghana Catholic Bishops' Conference in a nationwide protest against illegal mining activities, commonly known as galamsey, and what they describe as worsening governance in the country. The protest, scheduled for October 11, 2024, is expected to draw significant attention to the environmental degradation caused by galamsey and the perceived lapses in leadership in addressing the issue. The Catholic Bishops have been vocal in their criticisms of illegal mining, which has devastated large portions of Ghana’s forests, farmlands, and water bodies. They argue that despite various government initiatives to combat galamsey, the issue persists, posing a serious threat to the environment and livelihoods across the country. Abena Korkor has completely gone off the wagon and this time round, the public is calling for her immediate arrest into rehab before the worst happens.

After the death of her father, Abena Korkor started posting sensitive videos on her social media platforms.

Recently, she shaved off her head and became bald. Her new look came with a series of actions.

The former TV Presenter and Mental Health Advocate shared some pictures, videos and messages of some celebrities she had dealings with.

Abena Korkor made wild allegations against some of these people including the fact that she slept with them.

She also accused some of them of doing illicit dr@gs and illegal activities to make money.

However, her video that caused a major attention was when she was seen arguing with a motorist while carrying a fufu pistle.

Breaking News: A Military Man Shot Dead At Kasoa Over Alleged Land Dispute

A military officer in his late 30s was shot dead in Millennium City during a land dispute, while two other officers narrowly escaped death. The incident occurred near the Millennium City District Police Command at Kasoa in the Central region of Ghana. According to reports, the brother of one of the military officers had purchased land from a landowner identified as Winnebo Ndego. However, a group led by one Fiifi consistently prevented them from developing the land. On the evening of April 30, 2024, the deceased officer and two fellow military officers, in uniform, went to the land to assess the situation. They found another group working on the property.
