Election: (CSD-Ghana) Backs The NDC’s “Enough is Enough” Protest In Demand For A Credible Voters’Register

The CSD-Ghana believes strongly that the foundation of any free and fair election is a credible register and as such, any effort towards having a credible Voters’ Register must be supported by all democracy lovers. The Electoral Commission has admitted to many errors in the Electoral Roll, as pointed out by the NDC, but has failed to allow for an independent forensic audit into the same. The EC, for example, has admitted that there were illegal vote transfers in Sagnerigu, Pusiga and Tamale South by an Electoral Commission Official in Tamale South. According to the EC, these illegal transfers went through because there was no “liveness check” mechanism in place to prevent such situations.  The NDC says the situation is widespread so there must be an audit. This is a fair and reasonable call to make, but the EC has remained intransigent. CSD-Ghana stands ready to fully participate in this protest and asks other democracy lovers to join us to mount enough pressure on the Electoral Commis

BULL DOG DRAGS SHATTA WALE TO COURT

 Barely few days ago, Ghana's Self acclaimed African Dancehall Artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known in the showbiz world as Shatta Wale, made some insightful comments online which in a way propelled his former Artist Manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson widely known by the public as Bull Dog to take legal action against his former Artist.

Shatta Wale announced to the public online that His offer Manger once told him he was contacted by the for President John Dramani Mahama to solicit his help buy providing him gun men to handle a task for him. 

In the latest publications circulating on twitter and other social networks, indicated a legal writ summoning Shatta Wale to appear before the Law.

Breaking News: A Military Man Shot Dead At Kasoa Over Alleged Land Dispute

A military officer in his late 30s was shot dead in Millennium City during a land dispute, while two other officers narrowly escaped death. The incident occurred near the Millennium City District Police Command at Kasoa in the Central region of Ghana. According to reports, the brother of one of the military officers had purchased land from a landowner identified as Winnebo Ndego. However, a group led by one Fiifi consistently prevented them from developing the land. On the evening of April 30, 2024, the deceased officer and two fellow military officers, in uniform, went to the land to assess the situation. They found another group working on the property.
