The Catholic Bishops have been vocal in their criticisms of illegal mining, which has devastated large portions of Ghana’s forests, farmlands, and water bodies. Former Prez. Kuffour's Dispatch Rider Dies In An Accident When Leading Shatta Wale's Convoy

Shatta Wale is currently in the Upper East Region for a promotional gig for an alcoholic brand. But before he arrived in the region, his convoy got involved in an accident leading to the death of the policeman who is said to be in his early 30’s. The incident happened on the Tamale-Bolgatanga Highway while the musician’s convoy was travelling to Bolgatanga for a promotional event for an alcoholic beverage. The deceased officer, a motorcycle rider for former president John Kufour, was reportedly leading the convoy when he was involved in an accident on the highway with another car. The dispatch rider is reported to be one Sergeant Frempah, who studied the Law of Evidence, Criminal Procedure, and Police Ethics at the National Police Training School, who was killed in the impact. Witnesses recount a horrifying scene in which the officer was flung from his motorcycle as soon as it crashed.

The celebration took place at the Bro Otumfuo Sir Agyemang Prempeh II Masonic Hall on May 25, 2024. KASOA: Woman And Her Two Daughters Stabbed To Death At Kasoa

A woman in her mid-40s, identified as Alberta Armah Hagan, and her two daughters were found dead with multiple stab wounds in their residential apartment at Net Link Estate in Kasoa. Additionally, two of the deceased woman's children, aged 9 months and 6 years, suffered severe injuries in the same incident.  The perpetrator and the motive behind the brutal attack are unknown, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident. BREAKING NEWS: Iranian President Raisi Dead In A Helicopter Crash

Early Monday, relief workers located the missing helicopter, with state TV saying the president had died. Iranian state media said President Ebrahim Raisi died on Monday after his helicopter crashed in a mountainous region of the country. Raisi was travelling with Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who also died in the incident. Rescue teams had been scouring the area since Sunday afternoon after a helicopter carrying Raisi, the foreign minister and other officials had gone missing. Early Monday, relief workers located the missing helicopter, with state TV saying the president had died. “The servant of the Iranian nation, Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi has achieved the highest level of martyrdom whilst serving the people,” state television said Monday, with Mehr news agency also saying he was dead. State television broadcast photos of Raisi, with the voice of a man reciting the Koran playing in the background. Iran’s vice president for executive affairs Mohsen Mansouri posted on X a Ko
