Reggae Icon Buju Banton Returns to the United States After he was deported for 6 Years.
Born Mark Myrie, Banton confirmed his return to Miami after 15 years in a video shared by DJ Khaled expressing gratitude for a journey that has been punctuated by both triumphs and tribulations.
In a heartfelt video message, Khaled exclaimed, “This is real-time, bless up to the love to everybody worldwide, sending nothing but love and good energy.”
Reflecting on the reunion, Khaled expressed more gratitude for the opportunity to reconnect with his longtime friend and collaborator. “I haven’t seen my brother here in Miami,” he revealed, “I am so blessed. It’s been about 15 years since we’ve seen him in Miami or what we call the United States.”
“Buju Banton, welcome back to your second home,” Khaled declared, echoing the sentiments of countless fans across the nation.

Breaking News: A Military Man Shot Dead At Kasoa Over Alleged Land Dispute
A military officer in his late 30s was shot dead in Millennium City during a land dispute, while two other officers narrowly escaped death. The incident occurred near the Millennium City District Police Command at Kasoa in the Central region of Ghana. According to reports, the brother of one of the military officers had purchased land from a landowner identified as Winnebo Ndego. However, a group led by one Fiifi consistently prevented them from developing the land. On the evening of April 30, 2024, the deceased officer and two fellow military officers, in uniform, went to the land to assess the situation. They found another group working on the property.
